Should she date him or not?

my bff has got one complicated love life.... ok heres the problem... so my other friend Brit, dated this guy for awhile but then dumped her in the most hurtful way posable... now brit. is happy with a new boy friend... but the guy she dated is asking my friend irene out now.... he has gone through multiple girlfriends... she is pretty sure hes a player but should she still go for it???
