What would be a fair price for a 1997 Mini One?

I found a fab little car in the clic mini style I was after, trouble is I'm a poor student so don't have much cash to play around with. So anyone know what a fair price for a 1997 mini would be? It's in great condition, 30,000 miles. I think what the seller is asking is a little steep,so I'd like a few other opinions?
