What do i need to learn to play Gothic Style Metal?

I love bands like Nightwish, Epica, We Are The Fallen, Within Temptation ETC. What do i need to learn in order to play that music. I know the A Harmonic Minor, E Harmonic Minor, Blues Scale, What else would i need to learn to play that Beethoven, symphonic gothic style. Than You in advance
