How can I clear the drain pipe on a Whirlpool refrigerator?

I had this exact same problem once Look in the back of your fridge & look for a black or white vinyl like hose. Thats the drain line .You could have ice, food or both blocking the line so defrosting is required. Once you defrost you should be able to see the drain, If not it will be under the pan in the bottom of the top freezer section. Stretch out & use a stiff hanger to rod the line out. it won't hurt to run a little bleach down the line to kill any germs when your done.
