Why wont my puppy drink water sometimes?

i have a 5 1/2 week old puppy..she is a rat terrier jack russell mix(from mom) and dachshund mini doberman mix(from dad),,anyways she seldom drinks water is it because shes getting all she needs from her puppy formula food?
